Course Description: Let your body tell you how it wants to move and be supported. All our bodies are different, yoga posture practise should reflect this by being relevant to us and our emotional & physiological condition. Every human body is a unique combination of genetics and history, both have an effect on our present form. This provides us with clues about how we need to proceed with a posture practise.

When we feel a sensation in our body, this is a signal. The body is telling you either that it is being nourished, or that it is being punished. When used wisely, a yoga posture practise is an opportunity to refine our ability to receive these messages. When the body and mind have an authentic dialogue, we can begin the journey towards optimal structural integrity (alignment).

For his Structural Yoga Classes, Ross draws on his work with Senior Iyengar Teacher Alan Brown and his apprenticeship with Devi, to provide an environment within which each individual can access their own structural integrity whilst discovering and utilising the body's natural strength and mobility.

Beneficial for suffers of muscular back, neck & shoulder problems, hypermobility, mild injury rehabilitation, stress or sleep issues.

Structural yoga is suitable for all levels of fitness & applicable to all styles of yoga posture practice.
