Yoga in the Woods & Walking on the Welsh Coast

Get off-grid and immerse yourself in nature with our Wild Welsh Woodland Retreat.
Join Debbie Farrar and Ross Dixon for a weekend of Yoga and Walking along the most spectacular part of the Welsh Coastal Path in Cardigan, SA43 1QX. There will be plenty of time to unwind and enjoy the natural haven of Mwnt Beach; one of the most incredible, secluded beaches in the country, and one of "Europe's top ten loveliest hidden beaches".
Mwnt is a very special place indeed. Fantastic for dolphin and seal-spotting, reflecting on the giant expanses of sky, sea space and light or diving into the zesty waters. This untouched gem of the West Wales coastline is the ideal complement to a morning of Yoga. It's on the coastal path & has a simple cafe in Summer.
Our Yoga Shala for the weekend is nestled in the woodland just a 5 minute drive from Mwnt. The natural construction of the Shepherds Huts, Cabins and Tree Lodge offer us a chance to unhook ourselves from the grid and experience the benefits of a physical, mental and digital detox, whilst still enjoying a little luxurious comfort in the form of cosy beds, wood fired hot tub, and nutritious meals made from local, organic produce.
Price: from £375 per person (based on 2 people sharing a double bed)
Single bed in shared twin or triple Cabin or Tree Lodge £390 per person
Single bed in your own Hideaway Cabin £450 per person
WHAT'S INCLUDED?
2 nights’ comfortable accommodation in beautiful natural cabins, shepherd’s huts or the tree lodge.
1 × 60 minute welcoming Therapeutic Yoga & Relaxation class to soothe your senses on Friday.
2 × 60 minute early morning Functional Yoga classes to ease you into each day.
2 x Nutritious buffet breakfasts of cereal, fruit, nuts, seeds, sourdough, jams, nut butters & organic oat milk.
2 × 60 minute Dynamic Vinyasa Yoga classes to energise you for the walk or beach.
1 × 2 hour Hot Tub session.
2 x Vegetarian Dinners. All meals and drinks are organic, seasonal and locally sourced.
Friday Evening Fireside Yoga Philosophy & Deep Relaxation session.
Saturday Evening Fire Ceremony, Meditation, Kirtan & Song.
THE FACILITIES
Showers are shared spaces.
There are 2 compost loos and 1 x flush loo for those who need it.
We are off grid for water so wild wees are encouraged.
WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED?
Wifi - The Woodland Retreat is fully off-grid.
Electricity - The Woodland Retreat is fully off-grid.
Worries - leave them at home!
WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
Biodegradable toiletries.
Insect repellant.
Layers of clothing.
Slip-off shoes for going in and out of cabins, shala & studio.
Sturdy shoes for wet weather - this is a rewilding experience, come prepared for wilderness terrain.
Shawl or blanket (there are blankets on all cabin beds and some in the studio).
Sun protection.
Swimming things for the sea.
Towels.
Torch.
Watch or alarm clock.
Water bottle.
Zero waste - this is a zero waste site, be prepared to take any waste you make home with you.
